However, if you love the autumn colours (oranges, reds and yellows), the freshness in the air and putting on your wellington boots to splash about in puddles, there are some lovely walks just on our doorstep in Bath.
Here are a few that Visit Bath (The Official tourism website for Bath & beyond) have put together. Enjoy!
This stunning six mile circular walk offers the most amazing views of Bath. You can walk the whole six miles or a smaller section and enjoy a rich variety of views and discoveries.
Situated at the top of Beechen Cliff, it gives magnificent panoramic views of the city and the surrounding wooded vales and hills.
This walk forms part of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which attracts many for its breath taking scenery.

If you enjoy being beside the water or something a little flatter, than maybe this walk is for you. The first section will take you through historic Bristol and Bath, past the stunning aqueducts at Dundas and Avoncliff, to the dramatic Caen Hill Locks at Devizes.
