Visas

Non-EEA Students

If you are not a national from an European Economic Area (EEA) country you will require a visa to come and study at Bath Academy of English. All non-European nationals must obtain a visa before traveling to the UK, unless they are transferring from another institution.

Non-EEA students will require either a Child Visitor Visa (CVV), a Short Term Study Visa (STSV) or an Extended Student Visa (ESVV) – depending on your age and the length of the course for which you are applying.

Which VISA suits you?

Child Visitor Visa (CVV)

For students under 18 coming from a non-EU/EEA country and studying an English language course for less than 6 months.

Short Term Study Visa (STSV)

For students over 18 coming from a non-EU/EEA country studying a course of less than 6 months, or less than 11 months if studying an English Language course.

Tier 4 (Child) Student Visa

For students under 18 coming from a non-EEA country and studying a course longer than 6 months.

Tier 4 Student Visa

For students aged 18 and over coming from a non-EEA country and studying a course longer than 6 months.

Note: In all cases, Students will need to apply from their home countries.
